Job summary

Axis Automation is seeking a Controls Electrician to join the electrical assembly team. You will build and wire electrical panels and machine wiring per design specifications, read schematics, and troubleshoot wiring and circuits. Travel up to 20% for installs and runoffs with customers as needed.

The ideal candidate has 1–3+ years in machine wiring or electrical assembly, with a strong focus on safety, detail, and teamwork to support successful project execution across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3+ years of machine wiring, panel build, electrical assembly, or relevant industrial experience.
• Team player, able to take direction and be self-directed.
• High regard for safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail; neat, accurate work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble & wire electrical panels according to approved design and customer specifications.
• Read and understand schematics to troubleshoot wiring and circuits.
• Travel for install and runoffs with customer (up to 20%).
• Communicate with the project team on open issues and progress during builds.
• Assist with equipment builds including cost, quality, timing, and customer satisfaction.
• Work cross-functionally with all departments during all project phases.
