Job summary

Bartelt Packaging, a ProMach Company, is seeking an Electrical Engineer III to design and support packaging equipment and controls. You will work on electrical, electromechanical, pneumatic systems and related PC software, interfacing with specialists to meet customer needs and regulations.

Responsibilities include design from concept to production, programming controls, and providing technical support across manufacturing, sales, and service teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and 5+ years of experience in packaging.
• Expertise in high-speed packaging machinery and control systems.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD tools; MS Office and ERP knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and evaluate electrical/electronic equipment and systems.
• Design complex electrical systems from conception to commercialization.
• Program electronic controls and select components to meet specifications.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing, sales, service, or purchasing.
• Conduct in-house QC and pre-shipment checkouts.
• Read drawings, schematics, and process diagrams; analyze root causes.
• Troubleshoot field performance issues with service teams and customers.
