Job summary

P.E. Labellers is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to design, develop, program, and support electrical control systems for labeling equipment. The role covers schematics, PLC/HMI programming, motion control, networks, and safety, with involvement in assembly, testing, installation, commissioning, and customer startup.

Collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and field teams is essential. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 5–7 years of practical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years in electrical design and controls engineering in packaging or automation.
• Experience with B&R PLCs, HMI, motion control; familiarity with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff is a plus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent software.
• Knowledge of UL, NEC, NFPA 79, NEMA and CE requirements for industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical control panels, wiring systems, and power distribution.
• Create electrical schematics, panel layouts, BOMs and documentation.
• Develop and troubleshooting PLC, HMI, servo motion, drives, and networks, especially B&R platforms.
• Interface with project managers, engineering teams, and customers to meet specs.
• Support installation, commissioning, startup, and customer training.
