Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking an Engineer II/III in Wisconsin to serve as the site SME for electrical and control systems. You will maintain and troubleshoot DCS/SCADA configurations, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure safe, compliant operation of power facilities.

The role emphasizes problem solving, vendor interfacing, and driving reliability improvements across plant systems. Strong communication and project coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering from an ABET accredited program (Engineer II/III).
• A Master’s degree can substitute for the BS.
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience for Engineer II; minimum 4 years for Engineer III.

Responsibilities

• Serve as site SME for electrical/controls systems.
• Monitor and trend system performance.
• Interface with external vendors to resolve issues.
• Direct onsite testing and troubleshooting for emergent issues.
• Coordinate with Design Engineering, Transmission, Maintenance & Operations to address system concerns and schedules.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program

Master’s degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of the B.S.
