Job summary

Duke Energy in Florence, SC is seeking an Engineer II/III to join our engineering team supporting electrical/controls systems at our power generation facilities. Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Master's degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of the BS degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as site SME for electrical/controls systems.
  • Monitor and trend system/component performance.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for issue resolution.
  • Direct onsite testing and troubleshooting of emergent issues.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to address system concerns and budgets.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance is maintained.
  • Evaluate PM program performance and propose improvements.
  • Maintain configuration of DCS/SCADA/PLC systems for safe operation.
  • Develop scope and testing requirements for engineering design changes.
