Job summary

IPS is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to join the Project Delivery and Construction team at a site near Cary, North Carolina. You will lead specific trades, manage field operations, and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to achieve project goals with a strong focus on safety and quality.

The role requires 5+ years of site management experience, proven MEP superintendent background, and occasional travel. A related bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction site management.
• Proven experience acting as a Superintendent on MEP projects (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing).
• Some travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead specific trades on construction sites and manage field operations.
• Oversee the work of vendors and subcontractors to meet project goals and safety objectives.
• Support project management with schedules, budgets, change control, and reporting.
• Ensure project quality requirements and maintain client relations on site.
• Participate in pre-construction planning, inspections, and documentation as required.
