Job summary

BRPH is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to plan, direct, and coordinate activities for the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. The role involves overseeing safety, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with owners, contractors, and design professionals.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years as a Superintendent or a related degree with relevant experience, and must meet federal background check and military badge requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or a bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant and progressive experience related to the duties listed above.
• Electrical experience required.
• Must be able to pass a federal background check and obtain badging on a military installation.

Responsibilities

• Establish a strong safety culture at the construction job site and monitor compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Discuss and resolve matters with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals.
• Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
• Inspect projects for compliance with construction documents, building and safety codes, or other regulations.
• Inspect projects for compliance with environmental regulations.
• Direct activities related to construction or maintenance of structures and systems.
• Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
• Investigate damage, safety incidents, or delays to ensure proper procedures are followed.
• Prepare contracts or negotiate revisions with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors.
• Develop or implement quality control programs.
