Job summary

BRPH is seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to plan, direct, and coordinate activities for building projects. You will oversee safety on site, coordinate with owners, contractors, and design professionals, and manage scheduling, budgeting, and quality control to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires at least 5 years of superintendent experience or a related degree with progressive experience, plus electrical experience and ability to pass a federal background check for military

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a Superintendent or a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant and progressive experience.
• Electrical experience required.
• Must pass a federal background check and obtain badging on a military installation.

Responsibilities

• Establish a strong safety culture at the construction job site. Monitor contractors, subcontractors and employees for adherence to safety regulations, and compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
• Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
• Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with construction documents, building and safety codes, or other regulations.
• Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with environmental regulations.
• Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems.
• Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
• Investigate damage, safety incidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper construction procedures are being followed.
• Prepare contracts or negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors.
• Develop or implement quality control programs.
