Job summary

Premier Trade Services is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead and coordinate electrical construction activities across projects. You will supervise field crews, manage schedules, review contracts, and uphold safety and quality standards throughout the lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with project managers on budgets and procurement, ensuring OSHA safety compliance, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical installation activities on construction sites, ensuring compliance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Supervise and coordinate electrical crews to meet project milestones and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using construction management software to track progress and identify potential delays.
• Collaborate with project managers to prepare and manage budgets, estimates, and procurement of materials using estimating tools.
• Review contracts, change orders, and scope of work to ensure clarity and adherence to project requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections in accordance with OSHA regulations; enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for testing electrical systems and troubleshoot issues related to wiring, schematics, or equipment failures.
• Monitor quality control processes through blueprint reading, schematic analysis, and onsite inspections to ensure workmanship meets standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, safety reports, inspection logs, and progress reports for project records.
• Support project scheduling efforts by coordinating with other trades and managing dependencies across the pipeline of work.
