Job summary

CEC Companies is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to supervise on-site electrical construction projects in Mississippi. You will oversee field trades, coordinate with the Project Manager, and ensure timely delivery of materials, tools, and crews with safety as a priority.

Responsibilities include laying out work, scheduling, supervising installation of feeders, motors, switchgear, and lighting, and maintaining project documentation. This is a safety-sensitive, full-time position on-site.

Qualifications

• Must possess all skills of lower rated positions including Foreman, Journeyman, T2, H2
• 6 years or more of commercial/industrial electrical experience
• Ability to read and interpret prints, schematics and specifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee all CEC field trades on electrical construction projects
• Co-prepare estimates and take-offs with Project Manager
• Lay out work for foremen and crews; ensure materials/tools are in place
• Establish schedules and man-loading charts
• Coordinate with General Contractor on daily scheduling
• Supervise installation of electrical feeders, motors, switch gear, and lighting
• Monitor productivity; manage safety compliance and reporting
• Ensure proper paperwork, safety reports, and daily logs
