Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing seeks a Construction Safety Manager for a short-term assignment in Nottingham, MD. You will oversee electrical conduit installation safety, LO/TO compliance, and site practices within an active logistics facility.

Required qualifications include a health & safety degree (or CSP/CHST or OSHA 500/510) with construction safety experience, plus strong OSHA knowledge and site auditing skills. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in health & safety or related field with 3+ years of construction safety experience.
CSP or CHST certification with 5+ years of construction safety experience.
OSHA 500/510 certification with 7+ years of construction safety experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily safety activities for electrical conduit installation.
Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements.
Ensure compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and electrical safety practices.
Support preliminary electrical construction and conduit installation activities.
Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation.
Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans.
Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records.
