Job summary

Alterman, Inc. seeks a QA/QC Manager – Electrical Construction to lead quality assurance and control across electrical projects. You will drive QA/QC strategy, provide technical oversight, and mentor teams to uphold compliance with project specifications, codes, and client standards.

The role involves coordinating inspections, ITPs, and audit-ready documentation while supporting continuous quality improvements and field leadership across active sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years in electrical construction with 3+ years in QA/QC leadership.
• OSHA 30, CQM, or NICET credentials are a plus.
• Experience managing QA/QC programs in commercial or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Leads QA/QC programs and ensures adherence to project specs and codes.
• Establishes QA/QC protocols, metrics, and SOPs across projects.
• Conducts site audits and field verifications per NEC and AHJ requirements.
• Develops Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality documentation.
• Mentors field staff and project teams on QA/QC practices and continuous improvement.
