Job summary

Superior, a leader in electrical design and construction, is seeking a Project Manager for a Port Washington site. The role drives projects from kickoff through closeout, coordinating with the Superintendent and Foremen to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of project management experience in commercial construction and may hold a Construction Systems Management degree or related certifications. OSHA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• You have at least 4 years of project operations/project management experience in commercial construction, or equivalent field operations management experience.
• A bachelor’s degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or related field; or a Construction Management certificate.
• Experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $5M–$50M.
• Extensive knowledge in construction management software.
• Active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mitigate and manage project risk and elevate concerns with leadership.
• Create and manage the full project schedule from kickoff to closeout.
• Manage project finance requirements including billings, setup, buy-out, cost control and change orders.
• Earn client trust through strong communication, collaboration and problem solving.
• Chair project meetings and provide updates with customers.
