Superior is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects at a Port Washington jobsite. You will manage projects, schedule resources, and ensure budgets and timelines are met, while collaborating with the Superintendent and Foremen to drive progress.

The role reports to the Project Executive, requires 8+ years in commercial construction, and offers relocation support. The position is based on site in Port Washington, Wisconsin, with a pay range of $135,000–$185,000

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Bonus: Construction Management degree, Engineering degree, or related certificate.
• Bonus: experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $50M+.
• Bonus: extensive knowledge in construction management software.
• Bonus: active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and provide clear guidance to team members, vendors, clients, and executives.
• Mitigate and manage project risk and escalate issues to leadership.
• Maintain and grow client relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
• Oversee project finance: billings, setup, cost control, change orders, and cost-to-complete.
• Ensure compliance with the full project schedule from kickoff to closeout.
• Chair project meetings and reviews with customers.
• Coordinate across departments to ensure materials are available.
• Own the full scope of the project contract and manage changes.
• Maintain high safety standards on the jobsite.

Position: Senior Project Manager

Reports to: Project Executive

Location: Port Washington, Wisconsin

Pay Range: $135,000 - $185,000

Superior and our tri-venture, CST, is looking for a Senior Project Manager to help drive our electrical construction projects forward. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing construction projects, scheduling resources, ensuring that budgets and timelines are met, and working closely with the Superintendent and Foremen to ensure the successful progress and completion of the project. This role is based on a jobsite in Port Washington, Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead our project team(s) and provide clear communication and guidance to team members, vendors, clients, and executives
• Mitigate and manage project risk, and elevate concerns – and solutions – quickly to Project Operations and Field Operations leadership
• Maintain and grow the trust of clients by cultivating relationships, communicating swiftly, collaborating, and solving challenges
• Oversee all project finance requirements and lead the team through accurate billings, project setup, project buy-out, project cost control, change order management, and cost-to-complete
• Ensure compliance with the full project schedule from project kickoff to project closeout
• Chair project meetings including planning, progress updates, and reviews with customers
• Work with departments across the organization to ensure that project materials are available and in place as needed
• Own the full scope of the project contract and negotiate changes as needed
• Maintain a high degree of safety on our work across the jobsite

Your Expertise

• Required: You have at least 8 years of experience in commercial construction project management
• Bonus Points: You earned your Construction Management degree, Engineering degree, Construction Management Program certificate, or another related degree
• Bonus Points: You’re experienced with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $50M+
• Bonus Points: You have extensive knowledge in construction management software
• Bonus Points: You hold an active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
