Job summary

ITAC, a design-build firm with a nationwide footprint, seeks an Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical engineering, design, procurement and construction efforts on complex capital projects. You will coordinate teams, manage safety and schedule, and ensure performance within contract terms.

The role requires 3+ years in electrical project management, proficiency with MS Project/Primavera and Procore, and strong cost control, with employee ownership through ESOP and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical construction project management experience.
• Multidiscipline project management experience preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification, preferred.
• Procore experience, preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate RFQs (requests for quotation) to determine fit for ITAC; visit jobsites in preparation for bidding; note risks, clarifications, exceptions, etc.; prepare material take-offs; develop cost estimates; evaluate risks.
• Draft proposal letters, work scopes, schedules, other key information needed to offer a bid.
• Identify all work that can be fabricated in-house.
• Develop execution plans and schedules applying ITAC APM methods.
• Work with engineering, other trades, and construction management resources to coordinate EPC/CM and design-build projects.
• Host kick-off meetings with customer and ITAC team; establish project safety plans and expectations; establish roles, responsibilities and communication plans.
• Provide field teams with all applicable project technical information and maintain cost control; direct labor, materials, equipment, and tools.
