Job summary

Global Edge Group is seeking a Project Manager I to independently manage small to mid-sized electrical construction projects, ensuring delivery aligns with contracts, schedules, and budgets. You will coordinate field and office teams and serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in construction/engineering is preferred.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and contract documents.
• Experience with project cost tracking and forecasting is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage projects or defined scopes from kickoff to closeout within budget, schedule, and contract requirements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, lookaheads, and coordination plans with field leadership.
• Manage project costs including budgets, labor productivity, and forecasting.
• Prepare, submit, and track change orders; negotiate within authority levels.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and procurement activities to ensure timely execution.
• Oversee procurement including material buyouts and long-lead item tracking.
• Maintain project documentation (RFIs, submittals, logs) for accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage owner billing (AIA pay applications, lien waivers, collections).
• Participate in client/contractor meetings and communicate project status, risks, and updates.
• Identify risks and implement solutions within scope; escalate when needed.
• Ensure safety, quality, and policy compliance across activities.
• Assist in project closeout with punch lists, commissioning, and turnover.
