Job summary

EMCOR Group in Northwest Indiana is seeking a Project Manager to plan, direct, or coordinate activities related to construction and maintenance of facilities and systems. You will oversee budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with field teams and subcontractors to ensure timely project delivery.

The role requires 7–10 years in the electrical industry, a BS in engineering or construction management preferred, and familiarity with codes, safety, and project controls; MS degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years related experience in electrical industry.
• Knowledge of construction industry and contract documentation.
• Understanding of federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines.
• Proficiency in project management and document control software.

Responsibilities

• Drive the project’s overall flow from inception to completion.
• Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates and cost tracking reports.
• Review and understand contract scope for project turnover; attend walk-throughs.
• Coordinate with field personnel, subcontractors, and owners to resolve issues.
• Support accounting in monthly billings and collections; manage change orders.
