Job summary

Superior is seeking a Construction Project Manager to drive electrical construction projects on a jobsite in Ironton, Ohio. You will manage schedules, budgets, and field coordination to ensure on-time, within-budget project delivery.

The role requires at least 4 years in project operations or PM in commercial construction; relocation support is available for qualifying candidates, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of project operations/PM experience in commercial construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or related field; Construction Management certificate; or equivalent field experience.
• Experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $5M to $50M.
• Extensive knowledge in construction management software.
• Active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Mitigate and manage project risk, and elevate concerns – and solutions – quickly to Project Operations and Field Operations leadership
• Create and manage the full project schedule from project kickoff to project closeout
• Manage all project finance requirements, including billings, project setup, project buy-out, project cost control, change order management, and cost to complete
• Earn the trust of clients by cultivating relationships, communicating swiftly, collaborating, and solving challenges
• Chair project meetings including planning, progress updates, and reviews with customers
• Work with departments across the organization to ensure that project materials are available and in place as needed
• Serve as a key leader and provide clear communication and guidance to all team members
• Understand the full scope of the project contract and negotiate changes as needed
• Review all project documents including estimates, design drawings, specifications, and contracts
• Ensure the timely completion of all job closeout procedures
• Maintain a high degree of safety on our work across the jobsite
