Job summary

Superior is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects across Central Ohio. This on-site role coordinates schedules, budgets, and field resources while working with the Superintendent and Foremen to ensure successful progress and completion.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in project operations/PM within commercial construction, with design-build, hard bid, or negotiated project experience valued up to $50M. OSHA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of project operations/PM experience in commercial construction.
• Preferred: bachelor's degree or CM certificate; related field welcome.
• Experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects from $5M to $50M.
• Extensive knowledge of construction management software.
• Active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Mitigate and manage project risk; escalate issues with solutions.
• Create and manage the full project schedule from kickoff to closeout.
• Oversee all project finances: billings, setup, cost control, change orders.
• Build client trust through clear communication and collaboration.
• Lead project meetings with customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate materials and resources across departments.
• Provide guidance to team members and stakeholders.
• Negotiate project scope changes as needed.
• Review estimates, drawings, specs, and contracts.
• Ensure timely job closeout and site safety.
