Job summary

Diamond Peak Recruiting is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Operations Manager to oversee electrical construction operations and project execution for a growing contractor in the Columbus market. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing electrical construction operations, with a preference for multifamily projects.

Candidates with a strong background in general commercial electrical construction will also be considered.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction.
• Experience in leadership roles overseeing operations or senior project management.
• Multifamily electrical construction experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction processes, scheduling, estimating, and project financials.
• Ability to lead Project Managers, Superintendents, and field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day electrical construction operations across multiple projects.
• Lead and support Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, manpower, materials, and overall project performance.
• Coordinate with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and according to contract requirements.
• Review project progress and identify potential issues before they impact schedule or profitability.
• Provide guidance and support to project teams throughout the construction process.
• Assist with resource planning, manpower allocation, and project staffing.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and project partners.
• Help establish and improve operational processes and standards.
• Support business growth and help identify opportunities within the Columbus market.
• Ensure safety, quality, and company standards are consistently maintained.
