Job summary

SpaceXAI in Memphis seeks an experienced Electrical Construction Engineer/Project Manager to design, build, and activate the electrical backbone for its Memphis operations, from high-voltage substations to data-center power systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

You will work autonomously, manage multiple projects, and partner with contractors, utilities, and internal customers to deliver reliable, scalable power infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, power systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in electrical construction, power systems, substations, or data-center electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of electrical construction projects with on-time and under-budget delivery.
• Coordinate with contractors, utilities, and internal customers to deliver reliable systems.
• Manage project scheduling, cost control, and commissioning coordination.
• Ensure regulatory approvals and interconnection processes are completed.
• Lead cross-functional teams across field and office settings.
