SpaceXAI in Memphis, TN seeks a Sr. Electrical Construction Project Engineer to design, build, and activate high‑voltage to data‑center power systems and BESS.

You will lead multi‑discipline teams, coordinate contractors and utilities, and ensure on‑time delivery of complex electrical infrastructure from cradle to grave. The role demands autonomous execution, strong communication, and ability to manage multiple projects with tight schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, power systems engineering, or a related field is required.
• 5+ years of professional experience in electrical construction, power systems engineering, substations, data-center electrical infrastructure, BESS, or facilities electrical management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of electrical construction projects (high‑voltage substations, transformers, switchgear, BESS, data-center power distribution, UPS, generators) with on‑time and under‑budget delivery.
• Manage multi‑discipline electrical construction projects in field and office; act as project manager and owner.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, utilities, and internal customers to deliver reliable systems.
• Handle design/construction conflicts in field across HV/MV/LV systems and perform budgeting tasks.
