Job summary

Zenith Systems, a trusted electrical and technology contractor, seeks an experienced Project Estimator for commercial electrical construction projects. You will prepare accurate cost estimates and coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subs to support seamless project execution.

The ideal candidate has proven estimating experience, strong electrical knowledge, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Accubid. College degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Construction Project Estimator.
• Commercial construction experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, materials, codes, regulations, and installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of project specifications and drawings across trades.
• Coordinate with architects/engineers to resolve ambiguities before deadlines.
• Solicit materials quotations from Zenith vendors and subs; prepare scopes of work.
• Perform takeoffs and estimates using Bluebeam, Livecount, and Accubid.
• Review vendor/subcontractor bills and ensure quotations are complete.
• Log bid data into Zenith Bid Tracker and follow up with recipients.
