Job summary

They are expanding their Electrical team and seek an Assistant Project Manager/Estimator to support planning, execution, and finalization of projects.

The role involves analyzing specs, coordinating with clients and foremen, and estimating new projects using Accubid software, with on-site collaboration and closeout documentation.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to communicate with a wide spectrum of individuals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Tech savvy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss project scheduling, coordinate work, and resolve issues.
• Estimate new projects utilizing Accubid software.
• Review of the estimate to check for errors and omissions.
• Client relationship building and business development.
• Work onsite at project collaboration offices.
• Assist with project closeout documentation.
• Track and maintain project logs.
• Other duties as assigned.
