Job summary

Zenith Systems is seeking an Assistant Project Manager/Estimator to join our Electrical team in a dynamic construction environment. You will support planning, execution, and finalization of projects, including preparing estimates, coordinating with clients and vendors, and tracking project documents.

In this role you will work onsite at collaboration offices, analyze specifications, and help with project closeout.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in electrical construction.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss project scheduling, coordinate work, and resolve issues.
• Estimate new projects utilizing Accubid software.
• Review of the estimate to check for errors and omissions.
• Client relationship building and business development.
• Work onsite at project collaboration offices.
• Assist with project closeout documentation.
• Track and maintain project logs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.

Education and Experience
