Job summary

Zenith Systems LLC in Ohio seeks an Assistant Project Estimator to support cost estimating for commercial electrical construction projects. You will work with clients, architects, engineers, vendors, and the project team to prepare accurate bids and improve bid quality.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, performing material and labor takeoffs with Bluebeam or LiveCount, coordinating with subcontractors, and entering bid data into the Zenith Bid Tracker.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical construction estimating.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Familiarity with estimating software and takeoff processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical construction projects.
• Identify ambiguities and coordinate with architect/engineer to resolve questions before bids.
• Perform material and labor takeoffs and review subcontractor scopes.
• Enter bid information into Zenith Bid Tracker and follow up on proposals.
