Job summary

Zenith Systems, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Estimator to join our Electrical team. You will support the preparation of accurate cost estimates for commercial electrical construction projects and work with clients, architects, engineers, vendors and the project team to drive successful bids.

The role emphasizes reviewing documents, coordinating with other trades, and assisting with bid tracking and proposal preparation. This position supports growth within a stable construction contractor.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical construction estimating.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
• Proficiency with estimating, management, and scheduling software: Procore, Bluebeam, Accubid, Conest, Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of project specifications and drawings across trades.
• Solicit quotations from vendors/subcontractors and prepare scopes of work.
• Perform material and labor takeoffs using Bluebeam or LiveCount.
• Review estimates for accuracy and coordination with other trades.
