Job summary

ArchKey Solutions is hiring an Electrical Construction Associate Project Manager to assist the Project Manager on one large complex project or smaller projects with supervision. You will provide technical and administrative support and may carry bottom-line responsibility for profit and loss.

Based in a multi-location office, the role requires coordinating with GCs, subs, and field leaders, assisting with staffing, estimating, purchasing, and safety program implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 0–1 year of construction and/or project experience or knowledge of construction methods.
• Project management training, experience or skills with a project lifecycle.
• Strong process orientation, analytical and mathematical skills.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills.
• Must be willing to travel to and potentially relocate to project locations.
• Experience with Accubid a plus.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the total construction and design effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
• Act as a liaison to coordinate communication between internal and external members on the project (GCs, subs, superintendents, foremen).
• Assist the Project Manager in staffing decisions including the choice of superintendent and foremen.
• Perform specialized estimating and assist in estimating projects.
• Assist the Project Manager with purchase requisitions, payment approvals, and change order requests.
• Assist in implementation/interpretation of safety programs and ensure OSHA requirements are met.
