ArchKey Solutions in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an Associate Project Manager to assist the Project Manager in the overall administrative and technical direction for one large complex project or multiple smaller projects, under supervision. You may have bottom-line responsibility for profit and loss and will provide technical and engineering support as needed.

Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating communications among general contractors, subcontractors, superintendents and foremen;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 0-1 year of construction and/or project experience or knowledge of construction methods.
• Project Management training, experience or skills with understanding of a project lifecycle.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the total construction and design effort to ensure the project aligns with design, budget and schedule.
• Coordinate communication between internal and external project members including general contractors, subcontractors, superintendents and foremen.
• Assist the Project Manager in staffing decisions such as selecting superintendents and foremen.
• Perform specialized estimating and assist in estimating projects.
• Assist with purchase requisitions, payment approvals and change orders.
• Assist in implementing safety programs and ensure OSHA requirements are met.
