Job summary
Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a skilled Electrical/Instrumentation Designer to perform complete electrical/instrumentation design under supervision. You will assist in designing larger projects, generating installation details, MCC single lines, and related layouts across electrical systems.
The ideal candidate has an Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD and at least 4 years of relevant industrial experience.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD required.
- 4+ years of relevant industrial electrical/instrumentation drafting and design experience.
- Familiarity with NEC; ability to estimate task completion and work under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Produce installation details, MCC single lines, electric room layouts, motor control elements, and grounding plans.
- Recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly.
- Provide on-site assistance during startup.
