Job summary

Robert E. Mason & Associates, Inc. seeks a CAD Drafter skilled in AutoCAD Electrical, MicroStation, and EPlan to support engineers, sales and project managers by producing complete drawing packages, schematics and BOM-based drawings.

The role requires handling multiple projects with revision control and file management on project drives. The candidate should have a two-year CAD/Drafting associate degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, with strong details, math, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CAD/Drafting with 2+ years of experience.
• Direct work experience in this capacity.
• Mastery of AutoCAD Electrical; MicroStation and EPlan a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete detail drawing packages from rough drafts or sketches provided by others on the engineering team.
• Prepare detailed drawing packages from proposal BOMs and drawings.
• Draft on multiple projects using AutoCAD Electrical, MicroStation and/or EPlan.
• Utilize AutoCAD Electrical Project Manager to create/update floor plans, control panel layouts, and system diagrams.
• Define and manage I/O requirements and generate I/O tables for project phases.
