RWE Americas, LLC is hiring a mid-level Engineer II, Electrical BoP in Chicago. You will analyze BOP electrical systems, review diagrams, and support NERC standards compliance. The role requires 3+ years in power systems, and experience with substation/BOP equipment and ETAP modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or Physics.
• 3+ years in power systems engineering with short-circuit studies.
• Experience with high voltage systems and protective relaying.

Responsibilities

• Perform short-circuit studies and arc flash analyses.
• Develop and maintain electrical system models using ETAP.
• Provide technical support for NERC standards and project data validation.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance and reliability.
