Job summary

AlphaGov is seeking an experienced BIM Modeler/Detailer to develop accurate 3D electrical models and construction-ready drawings for commercial projects in Center Line, MI. You will focus on BIM/VDC coordination, clash detection, and prefabrication detailing to improve constructability and field productivity.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of BIM modeling experience, strong Revit/AutoCAD/Navisworks skills, and a solid understanding of electrical installation practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in BIM modeling or electrical detailing.
• Hands-on with commercial electrical projects.
• Ability to interpret design documents and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D electrical models with conduit routing and equipment layouts.
• Produce shop drawings, installation plans and prefabrication packages.
• Run clash detection and coordinate with architectural, structural and MEP models.
• Incorporate RFIs, submittals and field changes into models.
• Provide updated drawings and as-built deliverables through construction.
• Ensure coherence with project standards and specifications.
