Job summary

Upgrade Resources is seeking a Virtual Designer in Austin, TX with hybrid work arrangement to join a leading electrical contractor. You'll produce 3D electrical shop drawings using CAD/Revit, perform BIM coordination, and support the Sr. Virtual Design team to ensure install-ready coordination with GC and MEP partners.

Requires Revit proficiency, CAD experience, and ability to read blueprints. The role offers a strong compensation package and growth opportunities in a collaborative BIM

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CAD drafting in commercial construction, electrical experience a plus.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and BIM coordination processes.
• Ability to read construction drawings and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Build 3D models from field layouts using Revit and Navisworks.
• Perform BIM coordination, clash detection, and resolution.
• Support with BIM coordination across disciplines under Sr. VDC guidance.
• Produce shop drawings and maintain templates and standards.
• Collaborate with operations, GC, and MEP teams to ensure install-readiness.
