Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Electrical BIM Designer to join our team. This role develops detailed electrical models and drawings using BIM tools to support design, coordination, and construction of electrical systems.

Collaboration with engineers, project managers, and field personnel ensures accurate, coordinated designs. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in electrical design, proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks, and familiar with NEC/NFPA codes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in electrical BIM design in a BIM/VDC environment.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks; knowledge of Bluebeam is a plus.
• Familiarity with NEC/NFPA electrical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D electrical models in Revit or Navisworks.
• Produce construction drawings, plans, sections, and details.
• Coordinate electrical systems with architectural and structural models.
• Update models to reflect design changes and RFIs.
• Collaborate with project engineers and field teams to ensure constructability.
