Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing seeks an Electrical Assistant Project Manager / Assistant Construction Manager to support a major data center build in Lubbock, TX. The on-site role coordinates execution, procurement, scheduling, reporting, project controls, and client communications with project leadership.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of electrical construction experience.
• Superintendent experience plus at least 1 year as an Assistant PM or Project Manager.
• Experience supporting industrial, mission critical, or data center construction projects.
• Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, and construction processes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project scheduling, procurement, and material coordination
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
• Track project financial performance and cost controls
• Support subcontractor coordination and administration
• Monitor schedule progress and project milestones
• Assist with forecasting, reporting, and change management processes
• Participate in client meetings and project coordination sessions
• Promote safety initiatives and project compliance efforts
