Job summary

Cec Companies in Haskell, TX is seeking a skilled professional to assist project teams in the construction of projects, ensuring quality, schedule, cost control, safety, and customer objectives are met.

You will support project managers with change orders, expediting logs, RFI logs, and submittals; coordinate scope of work; prepare correspondences; and assist in coordinating with architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors to keep projects moving.

Qualifications

• BSEE or Construction Management preferred; high school diploma required.
• 2+ years experience in electrical construction.
• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and leadership potential.
• Electricians license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to project managers for change orders, expediting logs, RFI logs, etc.
• Performs cost control and financial management by working with preconstruction on project estimate and schedule
• Coordinates scope of work
• Prepares and reviews submittals
• Reviews and compiles pay applications, change requests, and other project financial documentation
• Partners with Project manager to craft client proposals and award subcontracts
• Assists in contract administration and management
• Assists in employee time and recordkeeping
• Assists in coordinating work with project own representatives, architects, engineers, inspectors, and site subcontractors
• Participates in meetings to coordinate work and manage labor concerns
• Prepares correspondence as needed
• Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective completion of project.
• Develops and maintains resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, government requirements, etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks and projects.
• Secure material orders, assist superintendents with material orders.
• Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective processes, completion of projects and smooth operation of department.
