Qualifications

• BSEE or Construction Management preferred; high school diploma required.
• 2+ years experience in electrical construction.
• Ability to develop relationships and leadership potential.
• Prior experience in electrical estimating is a plus.
• Electrical license is a plus.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to project managers for change orders, expediting logs, RFI logs, etc.
• Performs cost control and financial management by working with preconstruction on project estimate and schedule.
• Coordinates scope of work.
• Prepares and reviews submittals.
• Reviews and compiles pay applications, change requests, and other project financial documentation.
• Partners with Project manager to craft client proposals and award subcontracts.
• Assists in contract administration and management.
• Assists in employee time and recordkeeping.
• Coordinates work with project representatives, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Participates in meetings to coordinate work and manage labor concerns.
• Prepares correspondence as needed.
• Develops and maintains resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, government requirements, etc.
• Secure material orders, assist superintendents with material orders.
