Job summary

CEC Companies seeks an electrical construction professional to support project managers on change orders, RFIs, submittals, and cost control across Texas projects.

You will assist in scheduling, personnel timekeeping, and coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to meet safety, quality, and client objectives.

Required BSEE or Construction Management, 2+ years in electrical construction; licensing a plus; strong software skills and a drive for leadership.

Qualifications

• BSEE or Construction Management preferred; high school diploma required.
• 2+ years in electrical construction.
• Electrical estimating experience is a plus.
• Electrical license is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to project managers for change orders, expediting logs, and RFI logs.
• Performs cost control and financial management with preconstruction on estimates and schedules.
• Coordinates scope of work.
• Prepares and reviews submittals.
• Reviews and compiles pay applications, change requests, and other financial documentation.
• Partners with Project Manager to craft client proposals and award subcontracts.
• Assists in contract administration and management.
• Assists in employee timekeeping and recordkeeping.
• Coordinates work with project representatives, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Participates in meetings to coordinate work and manage labor concerns.
• Prepares correspondence as needed.
• Performs other related duties to ensure completion of tasks and projects.
