Acara Solutions is seeking an assembly technician in California to perform soldering, harness fabrication, and light mechanical assembly. You will tin wires, crimp connectors, and install harnesses under a microscope, using Mil-Std tools in a quality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience soldering circuit boards and wire harnessing.
• Current solder certification in MIL-STD-2000, J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 or NASA-STD-8739.3.
• Minimum 3 years experience soldering components and wires to PWB under a microscope.

Responsibilities

• Tin wires and component leads using solder pot.
• Use thermal wire strippers.
• Crimp electrical connectors using Mil-Std crimping tools.
• Fabricate and install wire harnesses.
• Light mechanical assembly.
• Install and torque screws and nuts.
• Bonding and staking.
• Lacing and spot-tying wire harnesses.
• Installing switches, jacks, meters, relays, and wire into the chassis.
• Use chemicals such as Alcohol, Epoxies, RTV Silicones and Conformal coating.
