Sun Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Cable Harness Assembler in Anaheim, CA. The position runs on a Mon-Fri schedule, with shift 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and a 2-month contract with possible extension.

The pay rate is $21–$25 per hour, reflecting skills, education, and experience. The role requires 2–4 years of hands-on harness assembly, crimping, soldering, reading drawings, and working in an ESD environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in cable/wire harness assembly.
• Experience crimping small terminals and contacts.
• Experience using crimp tools (manual and/or pneumatic).
• Proficiency in soldering.
• Experience working in an ESD-controlled environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Experience measuring with precision tools (rulers, calipers, wire measuring devices).
• Ability to read and write English; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cable and wire harnesses according to drawings and work instructions.
• Crimp small terminals and contacts using manual and automated tools.
• Perform soldering operations in accordance with industry standards.
• Measure and cut wires to exact lengths using precision tools; inspect with a microscope as needed.
• Perform continuity checks and basic electrical testing.
• Assemble small motors, connectors, and related components.
• Follow IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards and ISO 9001 procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and production staff.

We are seeking a skilledMid-Level Cable Harness Assemblerwith 2-4 years of hands-on experience in cable and wire harness assembly. The ideal candidate will have experience working with small terminals and contacts, crimping tools, soldering, and reading technical drawings. Aerospace industry experience is preferred but not required.

This role requires strong attention to detail, precision measurement skills, and the ability to work efficiently on repetitive production tasks while maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble cable and wire harnesses according to engineering drawings and work instructions
• Crimp small terminals and contacts using manual and automated crimping tools
• Perform soldering operations in accordance with industry standards
• Measure and cut wires to exact specified lengths using precision measuring toolsWork under microscope when required for fine-detail assembly
• Perform continuity checks and basic electrical testing
• Assemble small motors, connectors, and related components
• Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) control procedures and handle sensitive components in ESD-controlled environments
• Inspect finished assemblies for quality and compliance

• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 quality management procedures
• Work efficiently on repetitive tasks while maintaining high accuracy

Required Qualifications
