Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Bellevue, IA is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our onsite team on a night shift (Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 PM–4:00 AM). You will perform soldering, hardware installation and post coating tasks under supervision, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety rules. Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED and U.S.

citizenship. Manufacturing experience and ability to read schematics are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED (or equivalent, e.g. vocational/technical training)
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Manufacturing experience is preferred
• Ability to read schematics and/or technical drawings

Responsibilities

• Soldering, hardware installation, and post coating tasks.
• Inspect own work to ensure quality and conformance to specifications.
• Meet productivity expectations to meet deadlines.
• Comply with EH&S, ethics, quality and attendance rules.
• Participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in audits.
• Acquire required skills and trainings.
• Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean, orderly condition.
• Report progress to lead or supervisor on work progress.
• Complete assigned tasks within the scope and skill level of this role.
• Other duties as assigned.
