Collins Aerospace in Manchester, IA is seeking an Electrical Assembler I to perform base electrical assembly tasks onsite under supervision. You will gain technical skills, maintain quality, and support team goals while adhering to safety, training, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities include soldering, hardware installation, post-coating, inspections, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; vocational/technical education in related discipline acceptable.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
• Ability to interpret schematics and/or technical drawings is preferred.
• Ability to follow assembly instructions and complete training modules.
• Ability to work in an environment with repetitive tasks and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Soldering, hardware installation, and post-coating tasks after training.
• Inspect own work to ensure quality and conformance to engineering requirements and design specs.
• Meet productivity expectations to satisfy customer deadlines.
• Comply with EH&S, Ethics and Compliance, Quality, and attendance policies.
• Participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives and audits.
• Acquire applicable skills/certifications and complete trainings.
• Maintain materials, equipment, and a clean, orderly work area.
• Report progress to lead or supervisor and update status.
• Complete other duties within scope as assigned.
