Job summary

The Adecco Group is seeking an Electrical Assembler in the Houston, TX area for a contract-to-hire role within light industrial manufacturing. You will perform standard assembly, reworks, and repairs on equipment and products under supervision.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, 3+ years in heavy equipment assembly, and proficiency with hand and power tools, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments. Familiarity with fluid power schematics and MS Office is also preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2–10 years related experience.
• Minimum 3 years of heavy equipment assembly.
• Proficient with basic hand and power tools.
• Proficient understanding of calibration tools (Torque Wrench).
• Able to read blueprints and drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
• Tasks include manufacturing math calculations and use of lifting equipment.
• Basic knowledge of fluid power schematics and symbols.
• MS Office (Word/Email) familiarity and use of PDM.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, rework, and repair manufactured equipment per process.
• Perform fitting, mounting, alignment, adjusting, and testing.
• Promote safety awareness and participate in quality initiatives.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspect production equipment.
• Read blueprints and use precision instruments as required.
