Job summary

The Adecco Group is hiring an Assembler in the Houston, TX area. The role involves performing standard assembly, reworks, and repairs on manufactured equipment and products, with emphasis on reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments.

As an Assembler II/III, you will work with small to large mechanical or electro-mechanical components, supporting safety, quality, and continuous improvement processes while ensuring accurate manufacturing calculations and proper use of lifting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must read blueprints and follow work instructions.
• Proficient with basic hand and power tools.
• Strong measurement tool knowledge (tape, rulers, squares).
• Experience with calibration tools (torque wrench) is a plus.
• Min of 5 years heavy equipment assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, rework, and repair manufactured equipment and products.
• Read blueprints/drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
• Perform assembly operations on mechanical or electro-mechanical parts and housings.
• Assist in safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on production equipment.
• Conduct manufacturing math calculations and operate lifting equipment.
• Troubleshoot to determine safe, efficient repair methods.
