Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electrical Assembler / Job Builder to assemble, test, and prep electrical and mechanical products for shipment in Mundelein, IL. You will work with hand and pneumatic tools, follow schematics and BOMs, and track labor using computer systems in a contract-to-hire, first-shift role.

Responsibilities include assembling orders, using KANBAN, building and testing products, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling component-level parts in a production or assembly setting.
• Ability to read electrical or mechanical schematics.
• Able to work from BOMs and technical drawings.
• Basic math skills to support measurements and counts.
• Basic computer skills to use labor tracking systems and forms.
• Mechanical aptitude with manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Assemble orders for shipping and manufactured products per procedures.
• Use KANBAN to monitor and refill stocking levels for production flow.
• Operate hand and pneumatic assembly tools to build kits.
• Build and test products per drawings and schematics to meet ship dates.
• Record test results and discrepancies using provided forms and systems.
• Maintain accurate labor reporting in tracking software.
