Job summary

Aerotek in Oak Creek, WI is seeking an Assembler for a first-shift contract role assembling electrical panels and circuit boards. You will solder, test, inspect, and package finished products following schematics and work instructions.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, performing soldering, using hand and power tools, lifting up to 40 pounds, and documenting results. Onsite, Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of assembly or soldering experience in a production environment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with soldering for electronic assemblies and boards.
• Experience with electronic assembly processes and component placement.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds safely.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical panels and boards per schematics and quality standards.
• Solder electronic components and boards with proper tools.
• Inspect assemblies for quality, function, and specifications.
• Test panels and boards and document results in basic systems.
• Use hand and power tools safely during production tasks.
• Package finished products with correct labeling and protection.
• Follow production schedules to meet productivity targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area per guidelines.
• Report defects or process issues promptly.
