Job Title: Electrical Assembler I

Job Description

The Electrical Assembler will perform a wide range of skilled assembly tasks to produce high-quality electrical switchgear products in a timely manner. The role requires maintaining production quality standards and adhering to quantity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned functions based on verbal or written instructions, drawings, blueprints, schematics, or other manufacturing information.
• Maintain expected job progress in the assigned area and communicate any problem areas or parts shortages.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet specifications and codes.
• Observe and maintain good housekeeping and safety procedures, keeping equipment, tools, and work areas clean and orderly by performing 5S+ duties.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in assembly and electrical tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with hand tools, mechanical assembly, and electrical wiring.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution preferred.
• Experience in electrical assembly or a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Experience with manual, electric, and pneumatic tools, as well as drill presses, press brakes, and other equipment is advantageous.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, with potential for overtime and weekend work as needed. The dress code is casual, requiring long pants and safety toe shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilsonville, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
