Job summary

nVent is seeking an Electrical Assembler to join our team at the Oregon, WI location. You will install wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment, reading safety rules and procedure manuals to ensure quality and safety.

The role requires thriving in an indoor environment with a schedule from 6am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday, with up to 10 hours on Fridays. This is a full-time position with opportunities to grow within a global electrical solutions leader.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Commercial/Industrial experience preferred but not mandatory

  • Apply your knowledge of various electrical conduit types to measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install flawlessly
  • Handle 120/240 single phase, 120/240V delta 3 phase, 120/208V 3 phase, and 277/480V 3 phase systems with expertise
  • Join and finish wires to lighting, power, and control equipment efficiently
  • Connect power cables to equipment ensuring strict adherence to safety standards
  • Apply your working knowledge of the NEC to ensure compliance and safety

  • Install wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment accurately
  • Apply your knowledge of various electrical conduit types to measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install flawlessly
  • Handle 120/240 single phase, 120/240V delta 3 phase, 120/208V 3 phase, and 277/480V 3 phase systems with expertise
  • Join and finish wires to lighting, power, and control equipment efficiently
  • Connect power cables to equipment ensuring strict adherence to safety standards
  • Apply your working knowledge of the NEC to ensure compliance and safety
  • Experience with switchgear integration is a plus but not required
Requirements
  • Proven ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Must thrive in an indoor work environment
  • Reliable transportation to our Oregon, WI location daily
  • Enthusiastic about working a schedule from 6am - 4:30pm M-Th, with up to 10 hours on Fridays
