Job summary

nVent is seeking qualified welders to join our manufacturing team. The role requires 2–4 years of welding or related production experience and a HS diploma or GED. Welding certification is preferred.

You will set up welding equipment, weld components, inspect quality, and perform routine housekeeping in a climate-variable production environment. We offer pay transparency and a comprehensive benefits package including health plans and a 401(k) plan with company match.

  • At least 2 years of welding experience and/or production, manufacturing, or assembly experience; Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Welding certification is preferred.

  • Operates cutting torch and manual plasma cutter as needed.
  • Applies weld stencil and notifies Lead person or Inspector when product is ready for inspection.
  • Performs ongoing housekeeping duties to keep work area clear of scrap and debris.

YOU HAVE

Team members must be able to safely perform a range of physical activities, including standing and walking for extended periods, with frequent use of hands for tasks requiring dexterity and grip. Roles may require frequent bending, kneeling, and maintaining balance, with occasional climbing or repositioning to support production needs.

This position is classified as medium work, requiring the ability to lift, carry, or move materials up to 50 lbs occasionally, 30 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs consistently. Employees must be able to effectively communicate, hear, and visually assess work to ensure quality, safety, and accuracy in a manufacturing environment.   • Pay Transparency nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
  • Compensation Range: $17.20 - $31.90 Per Hour Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
